Michael Boehme Rocks the house again!!

Triple "A" Michael Boehme continues his podium assault on the Masters 35+ and E4 class with a 3rd and 4th place finish respectively at last weekends Oakland Grand Prix.  Michaels results continue the streak of podiums for the Colavita Racing squad with 9 consecutive weeks.

Another succesful weekend for Colavita Norcal

Congratulations to Eric Cinnamon and Heather Nielson for their 3rd place finishes in the Masters 35+ and Womens 3/4 respectively. Continuing Colavita Norcal's 8 week run of podium finishes. Eric,sporting the new LUMA ProBodyGear clothing and new LUMA RAX Colavita team bike, stood on his first podium with his best finish to date. Heather continues her great finishes with a 3rd in the W3/4 with some serious help from teammate Jennifer Zierke on the last lap to keep the field strung out.

Colavita Norcal continues podium assault

Heather Nielson and Steve Kirby gave Colavita Norcal two more podiums spots this last weekend. Heather's 3rd place in the W3's race in Sacramento and Steve Kirby's 3rd place in the E4's at the Clover Criterium in Santa Rosa continue a multi week run of podium finishes for the team. Also, not to be left out is (Big Engine) Phil Heiman, with a full on lead out train on the last lap, Phil took his best finish to date with a 4th place in the Masters 35+ race at the Clover Criterium. This next weekend finds the team in different locations again. Throwing down on Saturday at the ICCC Dash 4 Cash in Pleasanton and Sunday at the Dunlap TT in Dixon, and the 2 wheel Racing Crit in Rohnert Park.

Memorial Day Madness!!

Colavita Norcal covered the NCNCA circuit this weekend, racing in Auburn, Folsom, San Jose And Morgan Hill. Heather Nielson scores her first win in the W 3/4 race, Michael Boehme finds himself in the 2nd spot of the podium (that is two 2nd's in 3 races) Ari Preston takes 3rd in the W4's race, Big Engine Phil Heiman finishes off a great 45+ race with a 6th place (best finish I think) Rich Rozzi finishes just out of the points with an 11th to cap off a great weekend of racing. Steve Kirby top ten at Modesto Road Race

A fine effort was put in by the Colavita Masters team this last weekend, covering all of the attacks and spending a lot of time on the front controlling the pack. 6 laps of the 9 mile flat circuit allowed one rider to get away and hold off the pack for the win, So with the rest of the podium up for grabs Hollywood found himself up on the front driving the pack with 1k left to go and realized that was not the smartest move, as he faded fast Steve Kirby launched around the last turn and picked off riders for a great 7th place finish. Special props go out to Michael Boehme for doing as much work as he did in the RR on a backup bike following a horrific crash in the previous days criterium which destroyed his bike.

Michael Boehme 2nd at Joe Mendes Crit!

Congratulations to Michael (Triple A) Boehme for his second place finish at the Joe Mendes criterium this past weekend, Michael's consistency on the front finally paid off and he was able to hold off the pack for a great result.
